I felt very much at home as the couple are very good at conversing and also ensuring that their guests not only have a comfortable stay but also enjoy very tasty meals as per the choice of their guests.

This time my stay was very short but had a great time with JP & Loga. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends & relatives on their visit to Nuwara Eliya.

We where overwhelmed with their hospitality from the time we've reached, and didn't took much time to discuss the common things and family background. JP sir gave lot of information about the place and made our stay memorable one.
Rooms were clean, very good location, nice communication and value for money.
I've stayed in many hotels in different countries from backpackers to top star hotels but this stay will remain special, purely because of their hospitality. Gave them feedback and invited them back to my place before leaving the hotel.

  FANTASTIC HOSTS - Nidwalden Resort is a very good resort to stay, This home stay is exactly a home away from our home.
The hosts JP & LOGA are very wonderful... read more couples. They have taken care of us, just as a family member. Myself, wife, mother-in-law and my 3 childrens had a wonderful time at this Home Stay resort for 2 days. Only regret is we had a very short stay. We should have had some more days. You can have a wondeful view of the nature from your room, balcony and the lawn. The rooms, bathrooms and lawn all are very clean and well maintained. The highlight is you have a very healthy and tasty food as per your choice.

They have also arranged vehicle for pick up from Colombo Airport to their Resort, and back to Colombo Airport alongwith the travelling in Nuwara Eliya. The Chauffeur Mr.Susantha was also very cordial and excellent. This too made our Srilanka Trip very memorable.

We once again express our gratitude to this wonderful couple JP & LOGA for their hospitality, which made our stay more & more memorable for all of us.

  Awesome location with best hospitality - We visited Srilanka with parents and wanted a good homestay and Nidwalden was more than what we expected. Loga and JP took care of us from the time we landed.We... read more reached Nidwalden at midnight, host was awake and we were welcomed like a family, we were given black tea before we went to bed and was made sure our room was comfortable for us.The beds were so comfortable with clean sheets and bathrooms were well kept.
We stayed there for 3 nights keeping Nuwaraeliya as a midpoint to take day trips to local places. Loga prepared variety of delicious Srilankan breakfast and dinner from scratch that even my fussiest 5 year old ate well.We were offered the best variety of bananas and passion fruit from their tree.Kids had a wonderful time playing with their dogs and was also offered golf clubs and badminton to play in their lawn.
At night JP turned on the fire outside and we we also had a good barbeque dinner.
Location of the property is so beautiful that we enjoyed our early morning walks or even the scenes from the first floor bedroom window was so wonderful.
We were given the best advises on places we wanted to visit.
Over all we all enjoyed the stay and we all felt home.Host took good care of all us with atmost love and we can never forget their hospitality.We truly recommend this place and will sure visit again.

The room was equipped with... read more a beautiful view, warm blankets, plenty of space, and even a hanging rack in the bathroom (which is hard to find during my travels in Sri Lanka). We appreciated their fantastic cooking and chose their homemade meals as much as possible: dinner, tea and lunch. Loga offered the best curry, tea and tea sandwiches during my time in Sri Lanka! You must visit this wonderful town for the tea. The hosts have lived in this town for decades and they are friendly, warm and hospitable — there’s no need to Google anything when you stay here!

From the moment we arrived and until the moment we left we were treated and cared like family and we all loved every moment of it . Uncle JP and his wife along with a small team runs the place very smoothly with utmost care to all guest requirments. When is comes to accomodation the rooms are very clean with new sheets , pillows and towels along with all the necessary ammeneties for the wash rooms. We stayed at the family room and the view was perfect ..

Food was prepared freshly infront of us at the kitchen situated at the far end of the house , everything is prepared freshly by JP uncles wife with utmost care and love and it all tasted yummy so i had to insist on asking more roti some times :p

All in all if your looking for home like treatment , good food , great people and calm enviorment this is the place to go . We will definetly go to nidwalden again.
